Description
Bolzano has such an interesting history, with a very Austrian feel, this is an interesting Pinot Nero, as you can see from the name the producers use the Austrian / german translation for Pinot Nero. A very elegant wine, not as punchy as some Pinot Nero’s, but wanted to list as its a conversation starter among wine enthusiasts.
Pinot Nero, also called Pinot Noir, originates from Burgundy and has been cultivated in South Tyrol for more than a century. The grapes for this lovely wine, grow in selected vineyards on the slopes around Bolzano, which have been chosen by the head winemaker himself.
